Especially since motherhood has put me in touch with the wonder of the library hold request. A list entry whets my appetite and just a few clicks later, the book is on its way to me – well, to my teeny branch of the excellent local library. All of the dopamine rush of an Amazon purchase without the lost shelf space or the buyer’s remorse. Here you go, fellow addicts – eat, er, read your hearts out!
